Delhi Development Authority is going to launch DDA Housing Scheme 2018 in June this year for nearly 21000 flats. Taking lessons for failed housing schemes in 2014 and 2017 this year DDA is coming up with bigger and better flats in this years DDA flat scheme 2018. The good thing is that DDA will not consider any flats which were surrendered in previous two schemes for sale this year.
Location of Flats in DDA Flats Scheme 2018
The most number of flats in DDA Housing Scheme 2018 would be 1 bhk units for LIG category followed by 2 bhk and 3 bhk flats for MIG and LIG category. The flats included in DDA flat scheme 2018 are located at Siraspur, Narela, Vasant Kunj, Dwarka & Rohini. The size of 1 bhk flat for LIG category in the DDA scheme 2018 would be greater than 430 sq.ft. anything below 430 sq.ft would be considered for EWS categry.
In the previous housing scheme, DDA has offered 12,167 flats for which only 46000 applications were received despite extending last date and key terms & conditions. Out of these 12,167 flats around 6500 were surrendered by allottees citing small size of unit and poor location. DDA has decided not to include these 6500 flats in this year scheme, DDA is also planning to make construction changes to these flats by combining two units into one.
