Bhopal Development Authority is all set to serve the residents of Bhopal. The board has announced a New Housing Scheme namely Bhopal Navibagh Gharonda Affordable Yojana. As per the name, the scheme is affordable and falls under Atal Ashraya Yojana.
The scheme is announced to cater the weaker section of the society, hence registrations are open for only EWS( Economically Weaker Section) and LIG( Lower Income Group) of the society. Residents belonging to other sections of the society are not eligible to apply in the BDA Navibagh Gharonda Affordable Housing Scheme.
Talking about the flat type and count, there are a total of 315 units under the Affordable Housing Scheme. Out of these 315 flats, 295 housing units are of 2BHK type, which holds 93% of total flats. Rest 20 units are of 1BHK type and completes the total count of 315. The 1BHK and 2BHK flats are having an area of 350.45 square feet and 550.37 square feet respectively. The flats are constructed as per the requirements of EWS and LIG. The cost of 2BHK unit is around Rs. 12,38,00/- while the 1BHK unit is available at the estimated cost of Rs. 5,50,000/-.
The scheme has started on 30 may 2016 and will be open till 30 June 2016. After this, no application will be entertained.
How to Apply?
BDA Bhopal enables applicants to apply through both online as well as offline mode. The application fee for both is different. Here’s the details:
For 1 BHK, the application form will cost Rs. 100/- and 2BHK at Rs. 200/-
For 1 BHK, the cost of application form is Rs. 200/- and for 2BHK it is Rs. 400/-
BDA Navibagh Gharonda Affordable Housing Scheme will undergo a draw, based on which list of successful applicants will be published. the date of draw is yet not confirmed but will depend on the number of application received.
